Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more efficient, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.

Many of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of floors and rooms.

When I tested the S1, it was quick to locate our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, along with carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It easily drove close to walls without hitting them, and was able to cross raised room thresholds with no issue, though it occasionally was unable to navigate down stairs in a single step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or carpets.

After every mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for about twelve cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though it will differ based the amount you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires regular maintenance to keep it working efficiently. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop provides a powerful solution for your cleaning requirements. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with many innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station as required.

This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum for those areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as needed. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). Mopping capabilities are excellent and include a pair of mops which lift and scrub the floor instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops can also be replenished at the top of the station if required.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was launched earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the dirtiest areas well, eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other mess. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that deploys alongside baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble, navigating tight spaces and negotiating the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to another without changing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a large margin between obstacles. This can lead to missed spots.

Its app has a streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and control cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop setting, and view 2D and 3-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. You will require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

A robot vacuum does an excellent job of picking up dirt and debris however, it's not able to get every last particle of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is designed to do exactly that. It's simple to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your routine of cleaning.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, including the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it doesn't have mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.

Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 has some of the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It has a powerful suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin manually each time. It has a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and choose the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.

Its mops are also impressive with its 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 was among the few robots we tested to not have problems with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. robot vacuum hoover Links to an external site. uses an innovative mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. This device also has the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters, which reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can recognize carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you want the robot to avoid using the app.
